Machine monitoring

Connect machines in minutes and see them in real time

Battery-powered wireless sensors connect your machines and lines to xoee in just a few minutes. Inductive sensors or light barriers detect the movement of tools, workpiece carriers or handling units and so capture your machine cycles without contact. Alternatively, cycle signals can be sent directly from the machine electronics.

From these cycles, xoee derives machine states and gross quantities and shows them in near real time on the machine status board.

Quantity tracking

Quantities and progress by order, shift and machine

xoee also records output and scrap by order and by item. The easiest way is the xoee setter app: during a changeover, the setter simply sends the machine, order number, order quantity, cycle time and parts per cycle from a smartphone – and set-up times are captured automatically.

Alternatively, operators create orders on the production terminal, or planners in the order management. With a high volume of orders, an interface to your ERP or APS is the way to go.

Scrap qualification

Capture scrap – robust and with no training needed

If scrap cannot be detected by external sensors, operators simply report it with a wireless push button. On the xoee terminal they can also record scrap quantities and causes based on your defect catalogue.

Analysing the causes of scrap gives you the basis for Pareto and root cause analyses in real time.

Downtime qualification

Understand unplanned downtime instead of just counting it

On the xoee production terminal, operators control their orders and qualify unplanned downtime right at the machine. Causes of disruptions and their duration are displayed and analysed.

Thanks to the document management, videos and PDF documents for the respective item or machine are also available on the terminal.

Our promise

xoee places no demands at all on your IT infrastructure. Sensors and buttons are battery-powered and connected via their own radio network. Hosting is exclusively on servers in Germany – or, if you prefer, as a local installation on your own network.
